What are our services like?
Services generally last just over 1 hour. Our worship services are a time of joyful worship and praise, with a variety of traditional and contemporary Christian music provided by our praise team, soloists and ensembles. We have video screens which will have the words to any songs the congregation sings. We encourage a "joyful noise". We believe that God will lead you in the worship style you feel most comfortable with. There may be special announcements or features; occasionally dramas and videos are presented.

Do you give invitations at the end of the service? What are they like?
At the end of the service, the pastor will offer an invitation to anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to accept Him. He will also ask those who would like to become part of our church family or to be baptized to make that known. The chorus that is then sung while the congregation stands is an opportunity for those people to come to the front and talk with the pastor or a staff member. A trained counselors will take those who come forward to a room for a few minutes and answer any questions you might have and to complete some simple paperwork.
BY PROFESSION OF FAITH - If you are not yet a Christian but would like to be, or if you are a Christian but have never been baptized by immersion as a believer, which the Word of God commands, our pastor will pray with you and guide you in your decision.
- BY TRANSFER OF LETTER - If you are a Christian and a member of a church of like faith and order, we will write to the church where you are a member and request that a letter of transfer be sent.
- BY STATEMENT - If you are a Christian and have been baptized as a believer according to the scriptures, and do not either have current membership in a church or are currently a member of a church that does not grant letters of transfer, you can receive membership by your affirmation of the above.

What small groups or Sunday School classes are offered on Sundays?
We encourage people to check out our Bible Fellowship Groups in order to get to know other people just like you. Classes are offered for all ages at 9:30 a.m. See the list of adult classes and locations. Greeters can direct you to your room and will have the most updated list of adult, student, children's and preschool classes and locations. They will guide you to your rooms. This is where Our "Fellowship of Encouragement" becomes real!

How do I become a member of Northside Baptist Church?
The process to become a member of Northside Baptist Church is fairly simple. At the end of every Sunday service, an invitation will be extended. This is the time for those who have made a decision to trust Christ (or want to do so) to come forward to make that decision public. This is also the time for those who have already trusted Christ as Lord and Savior to come forward requesting membership by way of believer's baptism, transfer of letter, or statement of faith. When you come forward, you will be teamed up with an "Encourager" who will talk with you about your decision and then complete the necessary paperwork for you. If you do not feel comfortable walking forward during the invitation time, you may simply go to the New Member's Table in the Concourse following any morning service and let the volunteers there know of your desire to unite with our church.
