Northside Student Ministry
At Northside, our desire is to know Christ and to make Him known. Whether young or old, a long time follower of Christ or yet to begin that journey, we invite you to join us as we explore the fundamental truths in the Scriptures, the roots of our faith.
Discipleship, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, is at the heart of everything we do. Every activity, every lesson, and every prayer is intended to lead students into a deeper relationship with Jesus and to teach them how to bring others along. We hope to have plenty of fun as we build relationships both at Northside and in the world around us, but more importantly we hope that every student that comes through our doors will grow stronger in his or her relationship with our Lord.
Northside Baptist Church loves families, and in the student ministry our desire is to partner with parents as they raise their kids. Our prayer is the same as that recorded in Ephesians 3:14-21, which says:
“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
